    1. My phone has a built-in Game Simulator feature, what is this for?

      Game Simulator allows you to play classic games without having to buy a separate gadgets or a PC. You can download game ROMS from the Internet for free.

    2. How can I add games on the Game Simulator?

      Simply download game ROMS (e.g. .nes roms) from the Internet and save them on your microSD card under Game folder. Choose the subfolders you want to save the games (e.g. Action, RPG, Strategy, Adventure etc.) You may download games once you're registered in myLenovoWorld -- a feature that will be enabled in the Lenovo mobile website's near future

    3. I want to access my Game Simulator in just one click of a button, is this possible?

      Yes. Your phone has a dedicated key for the Game Simulator. Just simply press the o button on the upper left side of the phone and it will go directly to Game Simulator.

    4. Can I configure game keys on my keypad when playing games on the Game Simulator?

      Yes. You may configure your keypad to assign as your navigation keys. Select a game and press the left softkey to enter the game settings, then select Key Config. The o and x button can be set as button A and B.

    5. When I pressed the x button on the upper right side of the phone, nothing happened. Is my phone defective?

      No. The function of x button is for the Game Simulator which allows you to set it as B button for easy navigation.

    6. My phone has built-in social networking applications such as MSN, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter. Whenever I access them 'Network Error' appears. What will I do?

      Make sure that your GPRS settings are properly configured before using these services. You may try using manual connection and enter the correct parameters of your network.

    7. How do I configure the GPRS settings of my phone?

      GPRS settings are already pre-configured on your phone for Globe, Smart and Sun. To add more settings, Go to Menu>Web>Data account and add a data connection. Make sure that you have entered a correct parameters to be able GPRS to work. To get the correct settings, contact your Network provider.

    8. I transferred pictures from my PC to my phone's memory card, how come I can't see the pictures from the Image Viewer of the phone?

      In order to view your pictures from Image Viewer, you should save them on the My Photo folder of your memory card. Otherwise, it won't appear on the Image Viewer. To view the picture on a different folder, go to File Manager of the phone and locate the folder.

    9. I transferred video file from my PC to my phone's memory card, how come I can't see the video from the Video Player of the phone?

      In order to watch your videos from Video Player, you should save them in the My Video folder of your memory card. Otherwise, it won't appear on the Video Player. To view the video on a different folder, go to File Manager of the phone and locate the folder. Please make sure that your video format is supported by the phone, otherwise the video will not be recognized.

    10. Does my phone have a voice recorder function?

      Yes. You can record your voice on the Sound Recorder under the Media application. To record your voice on Sound Recorder, press the Option key and select New Record to start recording.

    11. Can I record the music from FM radio? How?

      Yes, the phone has a built-in FM Recording function. To record sounds/music from FM, just press the Option key and select Record to start recording. You may also use Schedule FM Record to set the recording on a given time and date. Please make sure that headset is connected when using this feature.

    12. What is a dual SIM phone?

      A dual SIM phone is one which holds two SIM cards. Initially, dual-SIM adapters were made available to use in regular mobile phones to allow them to contain two SIMs, and to switch from one to the other as required. Dual-SIM operation allows the use of two services without the need to carry two phones at the same time.

    13. Is Lenovo A336 a dual SIM phone?

      Yes, Lenovo A336 is a dual SIM phone. It is capable of handling two SIM cards.

    14. How do I put a second SIM in my phone?

      It's the same way as you inserted your SIM1 on the SIM slot, all you need to do is insert your second SIM on the SIM2 slot.

    15. Does my phone support microSD card?

      Yes, Lenovo A336 supports microSD card up to 8 GB of additional memory.

    16. If my microSD card gets corrupted, can i replace it?

      If your memory card gets corrupted, try to reformat your memory card first. Go to Menu>File manager>Memory card ard and press "Options" and select "Format". If you're memory card still doesn't work, you may need to replace it and buy a new one. To replace your memory card, insert the new memory card into the memory cardholder with the metal side facing downward.

    17. Can my phone send Multimedia messages?

      Yes. Lenovo A336 can send MMS / or Multimedia messages from other phones. Just make sure that the GPRS and MMS settings of the phone are properly configured to use the service.

    18. How many contact numbers can I save on my phone memory?

      Lenovo A336 has the capacity to store up to 500 phonebook entries. Please note that SIM memory is not yet included.

    19. How can I identify if my contacts are stored from SIM 1 or SIM 2 memory?

      You can easily identify the location of your contacts because it has a symbol that will represent each SIM memory.

    20. How can I input symbols when creating messages?

      You can input symbols by just pressing the [* key] on your keypad. A selection of symbols will appear on the screen, and you can choose by simply navigating your keys from left to right.

    21. When I switched on my phone, my display prompts 'Invalid SIM'. What do I do?

      Make sure that your SIM card is correctly inserted. Check whether your SIM card works normally. This message may indicate that your SIM card is defective or damaged. In this case, contact your network service operator.

    22. Why can't I send SMS?

      Check the options related to your messaging service center. You may have forgotten to subscribe to the SMS service or the recipient number is not available. Another possible reason is that your local network service operator does not support this service (refer to your local network operator for details).

    23. How do I check the options relating to my messaging service center?

      To check your SMS service center, go to Menu>Messages>Message settings>Text message>SIM message settings>Profile settings and press the 'Options' key and select 'Edit'. Make sure to input the correct SMS center number provided by your Network Operator, and press "OK".

    24. Why is my phone not charging?

      There are three possible reasons: One is that your charger is defective (in this case you have to contact your local Lenovo dealer or service center); the second possible reason is related to the charging environment temperature (make sure the charging room temperature is suitable); and the third possible reason is poor connection (check your charger plug connection properly).

    25. What is the right room temparature for charging my phone?

      When charging the battery, be sure to put your mobile phone and charger in well-ventilated areas with the range of temperature between -10?~+50?

    26. I cannot add numbers on my phone memory. Why did this happen?

      Check the status of your phonebook memory. The memory can only save up to 500 entries. If phonebook memory is full, delete some outdated entries.

    27. How can I use my phone as a webcam to my computer?

      Connect your Lenovo A336 to your computer via USB cable, then choose Webcam on your phone. Your computer will automatically install the driver. Once done, you are now ready to use your phone as your webcam.

    28. Is there a way to filter input methods when creating messages?

      Yes, you can filter other input methods if you don't like to use them when composing messages. To filter input methods, go to Settings>Phone Ssettings>Input Methods Filter, and untick all input methods you don't want to use.

    29. What is Blacklist?

      Block incoming calls and messages from anonymous person or even friends by using the A336's Blacklist feature. Just add the contact numbers you want to block on the Blacklist Numbers.

    30. Can I save two numbers under one contact name?

      Yes. Use the phone's memory to save the contacts numbers.

    31. Why does 'Enter PIN Code' appear after I switch ON my phone?

      The SIM lock feature of your phone has been activated under Security Settings. Enter the valid PIN code for your SIM card. If you do not know this code, contact your network service operator immediately. To switch OFF this feature, go to >Menu>Settings>Security Settings>SIM Security Settings>SIM lock, then switch the settings from ON to OFF.

    32. My display prompts 'Enter PUK code:', what do I do?

      If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times in a row, your SIM card will be locked. In this case, you have to enter the PUK code to unlock your SIM card. Please contact your network service operator immediately.

    33. The first time I opened the box, I noticed some damage to the unit and/or the unit's casing. What should I do?

      In the rare occurrence that your Lenovo E156 appears to have some damage or is not functioning properly straight out of the box, please refer to the enclosed Warranty Card and the Conditions of Limited Warranty.
