    1. My phone has built-in social networking applications such as Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter. Whenever I access them 'Network Error' appears. What do I do?

      Make sure that your GPRS settings are properly configured before using these services. You may try using manual connection and enter the correct parameters of your network.

    2. How do I configure the GPRS settings of my phone?

      GPRS settings are already pre-configured on your phone for Globe, Smart and Sun. To add more settings, Go to Menu>Service>Data account>GPRS and add a data connection. Make sure that you have entered a correct parameters to be able GPRS to work. To get the correct settings, contact your Network provider.

    3. 'MSDC not present' appears on the screen when I access Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter. What is this?

      MSDC stands for microSD card. In order to use these applications. Please make sure that microSD card is inserted on the phone.

    4. Does my phone support a microSD card?

      Yes, Lenovo Q330 supports microSD card up to 8 GB of additional memory.

    5. If my microSD card gets corrupted, can i replace it?

      If your memory card gets corrupted, try to reformat your memory card first. Go to Menu>Media>File manager>Memory card ard and press "Options" and select "Format". If you're memory card still doesn't work, you may need to replace it and buy a new one. To replace your memory card, insert the new memory card into the memory cardholder with the metal side facing downward.

    6. I have MP3 songs stored in my memory card but when I access Audio Player, 'Empty' appears on the phone screen. What should I do?

      I have MP3 songs stored in my memory card but when I access Audio Player, 'Empty' appears on the phone screen. What should I do?
      1. From your memory card, create a folder and name it as "My Music"
      2. Save all your MP3 songs under "My Music" folder. Note: You can create subfolders under My Music to organize your MP3 songs.
      3. After saving all your songs, go to Audio Player under the Multimedia Application. Press List then Options and choose Settings, then change the preferred playlist location from Phone to Memory card.
      4. After setting it to Memory card, switch the List Auto Gen. to On and press OK button.
      5. Go back to Audio Player to start listening from your favorite MP3 songs.

    7. I can't find the volume key when using FM radio. What do I do?

      To navigate volume level up and down, press Q and A from your QWERTY keypad.

    8. How can I lock the phone using the keypad?

      From idle screen, press Menu (left softkey) and * key to lock the phone.

    9. How can I unlock the phone using the keypad?

      Press the Power button first and press Unlock (left softkey) then * key to unlock the phone. You may also unlock the phone by pressing the Power button then long press the lock symbol on your keypad.

    10. When I press the Power button on idle mode, the phone locks. Is my phone defective?

      No. The phone has a quick lock feature, pressing the Power button quickly locks/unlocks the phone.

    11. Can I use my phone as a mass storage device?

      Yes, connect your phone to computer via USB. Once connected, select Mass storage on your phone screen and press OK. You can check and organize all your files from File manager under Media Application.

    12. Can I install JAVA games and applications from my Q330?

      Yes. Q330 supports compatible JAVA file (e.g. *.jar)

    13. Where can I download games and applications on my phone?

      You may download games once you're registered in myLenovoWorld -- a feature that will be enabled in the Lenovo mobile website's near future

    14. The phone has Ebook reader, how can I use it? What is the supported format?

      You can use Ebook reader by downloading Ebook file from the Internet. The supported format is '.txt'. Please make sure that your file should be saved under Ebook folder on your memory card, otherwise the file won't be recognized.

    15. What is Blacklist?

      Block incoming calls and messages from anonymous person or even friends by using the Q330's Blacklist feature. Just add the contact numbers you want to block on the Blacklist Numbers. Once done, go to Mode Setup and select Blacklist and press OK.

    16. What is Whitelist?

      Accept incoming calls and messages from Whitelist numbers only. To add contact numbers, select Whitelist Numbers and enter the numbers you want to register. You may add up to 20 recipients. Only registered numbers from Whitelist can call and send you messages. All contact numbers that are not on the list will be blocked from calling and sending you messages.

    17. What is Keep Away Annoy?

      Activating this feature will let your phone switch the ringtone off when someone calls your phone. You may opt to switch your incoming ringtone off during a given period of time by choosing between 1 sec., 3 secs., and 5 secs. The phone will only ring after the desired time is expired.

    18. I transferred pictures from my PC to my phone's memory card. How come I can't see the pictures from Image Viewer of the phone?

      In order to view your pictures from Image Viewer, you should save them in the My Photo folder of your memory card. Otherwise, it won't appear in the Image Viewer. To view the picture in a different folder, go to File Manager and locate the folder.

    19. I transferred video file from my PC to my phone's memory card. How come I can't see the video from Video Player of the phone?

      In order to watch your videos from Video Player, you should save them in the My Video folder of your memory card. Otherwise, it won't appear in the Video Player. To view the video in a different folder, go to File Manager and locate the folder. Please make sure that your video format is supported by the phone, otherwise the video will not be recognized.

    20. What video formats are suported by my phone?

      Lenovo Q330 supports 3GP and MP4 video formats.

    21. Does my phone have a voice recorder function?

      Yes. You can record your voice because it has a built-in sound recorder. To record your voice, go to >Menu>Media>Sound Recorder and press the Center button. To stop recording, press the right softkey on your keypad. Choose Yes to save and No to cancel.

    22. Can I record the music from FM radio? How?

      Yes, the phone has a built-in FM Recording function. To record sounds/music from FM, just press the Option key and select Record to start recording.

    23. What is a dual-SIM phone?

      A dual-SIM phone is one which holds two SIM cards. Initially, dual-SIM adapters were made available to use in regular mobile phones to allow them to contain two SIMs, and to switch from one to the other as required. Dual-SIM operation allows the use of two services without the need to carry two phones at the same time.

    24. Is Lenovo Q330 a dual SIM phone?

      Yes, Lenovo Q330 is a dual SIM phone. It is capable of handling two SIM cards.

    25. How do I put a second SIM in my phone?

      It's the same way as you inserted your SIM1 on the SIM slot, all you need to do is insert your second SIM on the SIM2 slot.

      Lenovo Q330 has the capacity to store up to 1000 phonebook entries. Please note that SIM memory is not yet included.

    29. How can I identify if my contacts are stored from SIM 1 or SIM 2 memory?

      You can easily identify the location of your contacts because it has a symbol that will represent for each SIM memory.

    30. How can I input symbols when creating messages?

      You can input symbols by just pressing the 'sym' key on your keypad. A selection of symbols will appear on the screen, and you can choose by simply navigating your keys from left to right.

    31. When I switch on my phone, my display prompts Invalid SIM. What do I do?

      Make sure that your SIM card is correctly inserted. Check whether your SIM card works normally. This message may indicate that your SIM card is defective or damaged. In this case, contact your network service operator.

    32. Why can't I send SMS?

      Check the options related to your messaging service center. You may have forgotten to subscribe to the SMS service or the recipient number is not available. Another possible reason is that your local network service operator does not support this service (refer to your local network operator for details).

    33. How do I check the options relating to my messaging service center?

      To check your SMS service center, go to Menu>Messages>Message settings>Text message>SMS settings>SIM message settings>Profile settings and press the 'Options' key and select 'Edit'. Make sure to input the correct SMS center number provided by your Network Operator, and press "OK".

    34. Why is my phone not charging?

      There are three possible reasons: One is that your charger is defective (in this case you have to contact your local Lenovo dealer or service center); the second possible reason is related to the charging environment temperature (make sure the charging room temperature is suitable); and the third possible reason is poor connection (check your charger plug connection properly).

    35. What is the right room temparature for charging my phone?

      When charging the battery, be sure to put your mobile phone and charger in well-ventilated areas with the range of temperature between -10?~+50?

    36. I cannot add numbers on my phone memory. Why did this happen?

      Check the status of your phonebook memory. The memory can only save up to 1000 entries. If phonebook memory is full, delete some outdated entries.

    37. Can I save two numbers under one contact name?

      Yes. Use the phone's memory to save the contact numbers.

    38. The first time I opened the box, I noticed some damage to the unit and/or the unit's casing. What should I do?
